The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2010.  The Department offers B.Tech course in Mechanical Engineering at undergraduate level. All the infrastructure  needed for conduct of the labs has been developed. 

Presently the department has well furnished laboratories which include:

• Engineering Drawing Lab
• Engineering Workshop Lab
• Fluid Mechanics & Hydraulic Machines Lab
• Production Technology  Lab
