Department of Computer Applications
mcaThe Department of Master of Computer Application was established in the year 2006 with an intake of 60.  The program is designed to train students in state-of-art technology in the fields of Object-oriented Analysis/Design Techniques and Programming, Client Server Application development, Distributed Database Development, Telecommunications and Local Area Network Design and Artificial Intelligence/Expert Systems.
The faculty, rich in experience, is highly motivated and enthusiastic in giving quality education. It blends the strength of its faculty with resources of the academic world and professionals from outside. The department has an exclusive well equipped laboratory. 

COURSE OBJECTIVE
The main objective of the course is to impart basic understanding of concepts, strategies, tools and techniques of information technology, to provide a strong foundation in all technical aspects of computers and their applications, to develop communication and soft skills necessary for contemporary IT professionals and to give hands on experience in IT application in industry through projects on computer application software.
